Ever stayed in a fully fledged health retreat or resort. No! But need a recharge. Being healthy doesn't have to be enormously expensive. When I am feeling burnt out (all too frequently) and my health is starting to deteriorate I start to retreat internally and resort to junk food externally. Time for a break. There are many types of health retreats and resorts.

A health retreat offers the opportunity to remove yourself from the stresses of everyday life and recharge yourself and rest your lifestyle. They usually include therapists for massage or acupuncture or naturopathy, healthy meals (frequently vegetarian), gentle exercise such as yoga or tai chi, and meditation or deep relaxation classes. A health resort is similar but usually more upmarket with a lot more pampering thrown into the mix.

Ipswich is in the south east of Queensland, a mere 40 minutes drive from the capital city. Covering an area around 1200 kilometres and with a population over 120,000 Ipswich has plenty to offer.
