Coolangatta is the most southerly coastal town in Queensland being the gateway to the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales. It is only 100 kms south of Brisbane and borders its twin town of Tweed Heads. If your heading to the Gold Coast, Coolangatta Airport is the point of arrival and departure with plenty of buses, taxis and limousines to ferry you to your accommodation. Coolangatta is the perfect place to enjoy the Gold Coast offering sheltered beaches with white sand, great surf, laid back cafes and accommodation to suit all budgets. |
Bed and Breakfast accommodation (including Guesthouse accommodation) was traditionally for hosted accommodation offering one or several rooms with or without an ensuite and a hot breakfast the next morning. In recent years the lines have blurred as many places not offering breakfast or leaving a ingredients for you to cook yourself are calling themselves Bed and Breakfast. In our view a Bed and Breakfast should be hosted and should provide a cooked breakfast. It would pay to ask what you are getting before you book. |
