Hervey Bay is around three and a half hours from Queensland's capital or less than hour by plane.  Hervey Bay attractions include the Great Sandy Strait, World Heritage listed Fraser Island, the Bay and the wetlands. Hervey Bay is the whale watching capital of the world.  From July to late August the humpback whales pass through this beautiful region.  But don't think this is the only time to visit.  The city has over 50,000 residents and offers abundant dining, accommodation and entertainment. Hervey Bay offers a sub-tropical climate, with summer maximum temperatures of 29 degrees Celsius and a winter maximums of 22 degrees Celsius.

Krystal Klear Charters
Krystal Klear Charters is an ideal tour for people and families of all ages. Most days out we see dolphins. Both the Indo-Pacific and bottlenose dolphins are prevalent in the Great Sandy Straits and occasionally we will see dugongs. Except for two months in winter close sightings of large green and loggerhead turtles are guaranteed.

Whalesong Cruises
Our modern vessel was purposely built for whale watching, with wide decks that offer comfortable wheelchair access to most areas on the lower deck and the main cabin area. So this means plenty of space for all to view an unforgettable display by these majestic animals, who often privilege us with a close encounter.

Hervey Bay Historical Village
An enjoyable afternoon can be spent browsing through the 19 buildings in the grounds of the Hervey Bay Historical Village next to the big fish. Allow yourself at least two hours to fully enjoy the experience. On Sundays, from 1pm 'til 3pm, the blacksmith and wood turner demonstrate their skills. You can see miniature horse shoes and tiny wooden goblets created before your eyes.
