Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery at Royal Park
See exhibitions of Tasmania's natural heritage from its unique wildlife, including the Tasmanian Tiger and Tasmanian Devil and live displays of Tasmanian snakes and spiders, and the state's mineral wealth. The Royal Park site is also the home of the Launceston Planetarium, the children's interactive space - Discovery Plus, and a unique Chinese Temple.

Old Umbrella Shop
A quaint old shop built entirely of Tasmanian blackwood in the 1860s. As well as the stock for sale - umbrellas and National Trust and Tasmanian goods - the shop has a fascinating display of umbrellas used during the last 100 years. The shop is also a National Trust Information Centre.

J Boag and Son Brewery
Tours start and finish at the 'Boag's Centre for Beer Lovers' (Museum) which is open Monday to Friday from 0845 to 1630. The centre houses a museum and a retail store where merchandise is available to purchase. During a tour of this brewery you will see all the processes that produce the amber liquid and have the opportunity to taste the beers that constantly win gold at the Australian International Beer Awards.
