Around a 2 hour drive from 160 kms North East of Melbourne. The gateway to Lake Eildon - a water catchment constructed in the 1950s - it offers up to 600 kms of shoreline with over 800 luxury houseboats moored at any one time.

The town itself has a small population of under a thousand residents but swells with visitors on their annual pilgrimage for a fresh water holiday or on day trips from Melbourne and surrounding regions.
