There's no better place to be when it's hot than the Geelong Region.  Palm trees line Moorabool Street (the main street of Geelong's CBD) giving a warm, beachy feel to the inner city.  And why not.  Geelong has everything you want at any time of year with major shopping centres, stacks of beaches including Eastern Beach, a state of the art sports stadium and top theatres and shows.  If you don't visit Geelong during the cooler months you really should get out more.

Geelong, overlooking Corio bay offers waterfront views in luxury accommodation with many restaurants situated on the waters edge. No visit to Geelong would be complete without a walk (or cycle) along the wide paths that lead the length of the many beaches finishing at Eastern Beach (a large enclosed swimming pool extending into the bay with dining and park facilities) and the Geelong Botanical Gardens.

Bed and Breakfast accommodation (including Guesthouse accommodation) was traditionally for hosted accommodation offering one or several rooms with or without an ensuite and a hot breakfast the next morning.  In recent years the lines have blurred as many places not offering breakfast or leaving a ingredients for you to cook yourself are calling themselves Bed and Breakfast.  In our view a Bed and Breakfast should be hosted and should provide a cooked breakfast. It would pay to ask what you are getting before you book.
