I never tire of visiting Melbourne.  Victoria's capital never ceases to impress me with it's festivals, exhibitions, shows, dining, accommodation and shopping.  It rivals anywhere in the world.  Melbourne has architecture that ranges from historical significance to modern bizarre and everything in between.  Where else would you find shopping arcades that allow you to sit outdoors and sip great coffee in any type of weather.  Melbourne is very much like its population - diverse in culture.  Thank goodness.

Stoniers Wines
In 1978, Brian Stonier and his wife Noel established the Stonier vineyard in the coastal town of Merricks . Stonier sources Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from over 150 acres across 5 selected sub-regions; Merricks North, Balnarring, Tuerong, Red Hill and at the estate vineyards in Merricks which span over 50 acres.

Yering Farm Wines
The Cellar Door is set in the converted hay shed, oozing country charm. Decorated with old farming and winemaking equipment and historical maps, there are many interesting artifacts that catch the eye whilst enjoying Yering Farm's beautiful handcrafted wines. You can also enjoy a glass of Yering Farm wine on the balcony, with a light lunch or fresh coffee.

Melbourne is the capital of Victoria and offers everything you would expect of a major city. Staging some of the best sporting events and theatre performances, Melbourne is the cultural hub of Australia. The Melbourne Comedy Festival, Moomba, the Tennis, Melbourne Cup, Formula One Racing - if there's a major festival on it's probably going to be here. For a more relaxed visit the Melbourne Aquarium, the Art Gallery, Sciencework, the Museum exhibitions or see what's on at the Exhibition Buildings.
