Phillip Island is a little under a two hour drive from Melbourne on the. It includes the towns of Newhaven, Rhyll and Cowes with San Remo being the last town on the Mainland. It's the home of the motor cycle racing at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit including the World Superbike Championship in April and The Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix in October. November is the action of the V8 Supercars.

Phillip Island Penguin Parade
Each night at sunset, the world's smallest penguins, the Little Penguins, emerge from the sea and waddle ashore to their sand dune burrows. This is a truly memorable natural wildlife experience. Koala Conservation Centre

Cowes Golf Club
One of the few courses where it can be only a metre above sea level. So watch out for the tides as can mean that a ball hit off the fairway at one time might be high and dry but may well be in a water hazard at another.

Vietnam Veterans Museum
The VVAA Museum currently has over 5000 artefacts, memorabilia and photographic material, which are displayed either under glass or in walk through areas, which allow the visitor to fully appreciate what it was actually like to be "in country" and absorb the era which was Vietnam.

The Gurdies Winery
