Queenscliff, a seaside resort on the Bellarine Peninsula is a very popular beachside destination steeped in a rich heritage characterised by elegant hotels, guesthouses, galleries, restaurants, cafes, a fine golf course, ferries and wide streets with terraced houses. It has both bay and surf beaches. Fort Queenscliff which was built on Shortlands Bluff, overlooking the commercial shipping lanes for Melbourne and Geelong. In recent years Queenscliff updated it ferry service to large vehicle carrying vessels so it can be accessed via Geelong or Sorrento. A fisherman's paradise and one of the most relaxing seaside destinations in Victoria.

Bed and Breakfast accommodation (including Guesthouse accommodation) was traditionally for hosted accommodation offering one or several rooms with or without an ensuite and a hot breakfast the next morning.  In recent years the lines have blurred as many places not offering breakfast or leaving a ingredients for you to cook yourself are calling themselves Bed and Breakfast.  In our view a Bed and Breakfast should be hosted and should provide a cooked breakfast. It would pay to ask what you are getting before you book.
