Western Australia is Australia 's largest state in area, covering the western third of the mainland, and is bordered by South Australia and the Northern Territory.  The coastline of Western Australia is over 12,500 kilometres long, so there is no shortage of beach walks.  The population of the state is 2 million with most living in or around Perth.

Perth is the capital of Western Australia with a population well over one million people.  This the place to be as it rides high on Western Australia's mining boom.
